Golden Goddess is one of IGT’s most popular online slot games. It is smooth and professional and has a dreamy soundtrack which seems to fade away, and then come back with drums and wispy noises ebbing and flowing. This game is reminiscent of a few of my other IGT favorites such as Fire Opals, and Diamond Queen.
The big wins in Golden Goddess nearly always come as a result of the stacked wilds. The symbols come in long rows, which mean it is easy to get entire reels covered in the same one. This gives you multiple wins, and when 9 or more symbols win together they merge into one big one on the reels. The best I got was all of the spots filled with aces, giving me 40 x 5-of a kind. This was a reasonable win, though not as spectacular as I thought when they first came in.
There is a free spins bonus round, where you get to pick a symbol to have even more stacked potential. This does not come in too often, though can result in some big wins when it does trigger.
The base setup is a 5 reel, 3 line video slot which has 40 winning lines.
